This bill recognizes the right of parents to direct the upbringing and education of their children. It then prohibits the government from interfering with this right. CPAC supports measures that promote the right of parents to guide their children through their early years and supported this bill. The Senate passed this bill on May 31, 2023 by a vote of 35-0 and the bill later became law.
