This bill sets up a grant program that helps reimburse the costs of tuition for individuals aged 25 years or older. CPAC does not believe that taxpayers should be forced to fund other people’s college tuition and opposed this bill. The Senate passed this bill on June 1, 2023 by a vote of 34-0 and the bill later became law.
