This bill requires individuals to conduct at least 5 work search requirements per week in order to remain eligible to receive unemployment compensation. CPAC supports efforts to ensure that unemployment compensation remains a temporary bridge between jobs and supported this bill. The House passed the bill on March 15, 2023 by a vote of 74-17 and the bill later became law.
