This bill protects property owners from civil liability for any damage or harm that may occur as a result of the actions of a nonemployee in possession of a gun on their property. CPAC supports the founder’s belief in the Second Amendment, supports measures that enhance those rights, and supported this bill. The House passed the bill on April 4, 2023 by a vote of 74-13 and the bill later became law.
