Vote Description

This bill clarifies that, in Arkansas, a license is not needed in order for one to be permitted to carry a concealed weapon. It states that the purpose of one of its licensing laws is to help give reciprocity to licensees in states that require licenses. CPAC supports strengthening Second Amendment rights and supported this bill. The House passed the bill on April 6, 2023 by a vote of 81-11 and the bill later became law.
