This bill requires schools to designate bathrooms and locker rooms as being exclusively for the male or female sex. It then prohibits schools from allowing members of a particular sex to enter a bathroom or locker room designated as being for the other sex. CPAC supports efforts to protect the privacy of students in these facilities and supported this bill. The Senate passed the bill on March 13, 2023 by a vote of 29-6 and the bill later became law.
