Vote Description
This bill requires the Treasurer of State to remove all of Arkansas’ holdings from financial services providers that discriminate against energy companies or firearm entities. CPAC does not believe that the state should invest its funds in entities that utilize ESG-based decision-making processes and supported this bill. The Senate passed the bill on March 13, 2023 by a vote of 23-9 and the bill later became law.
