This bill removes a provision from law that gave the Department of Health the power to license abortion clinics. CPAC believes abortion is always a human tragedy, supports efforts to prevent its practice, and supported this bill. The Senate passed the bill on February 23, 2023 by a vote of 29-6 and the bill later became law.
