This bill states that the government may not require banks or other financial institutions to use a social credit score when deciding whether or not they should lend money to a customer. CPAC opposes government-imposed social credit scores and supported this bill. The House passed this bill on February 21, 2023 by a vote of 31-28 but the bill was vetoed by Governor Hobbs.
