This bill prohibits the state from using its resources to enforce public health orders issued by intergovernmental health organizations. It also limits the ability of the governor to declare and prolong emergencies. CPAC supports measures that diminish the ability of the WHO to influence domestic policy, supports measures that strengthen the influence of the people’s will on politics, and supported this bill. The Senate passed this bill on April 12, 2023 by a vote of 16-13 but the bill was vetoed by Governor Hobbs.
