This bill requires that electronic equipment used to administer elections meet the standards set by the Department of Defense for cybersecurity. CPAC supports efforts to protect the state’s elections against foreign interference and supported this bill. The Senate passed this bill on March 6, 2023 by a vote of 16-13 but the bill was vetoed by Governor Hobbs.
