This bill prohibits firearms retailers from selling firearms that do not have microstamping components attached to them. CPAC supports the founders’ belief in the Second Amendment, opposes California’s constant efforts to crack down on the rights of those in its jurisdiction, and opposed this bill. The Assembly passed this bill on September 13, 2023 by a vote of 55-18 and the bill later became law.
