This bill finances $14 billion in projects such as heat mitigation, drought, flood and the like. CPAC supports current needs for such projects rather than possible future needs utilizing existing funds and opposed this bill. The Assembly passed the bill on July 3, 2024 by a vote of 66-6 and the bill later became law.
