AB 957
Allowing Judges to Consider Radical Gender Theory in Decisions about Child Custody Battles.
2023 - California Senate
Vote Description

This bill allows courts to, during child custody battles, take into consideration a parent’s “affirmation” of a child’s perceived gender. CPAC recognizes that this provision will be used by Leftist judges to throttle and persecute conservative parents that do not wish for their child to be subjected to radical gender surgeries and therapies. CPAC, therefore, opposed this bill. The Senate passed this bill on September 6, 2023 by a vote of 30-9 but Governor Newsom vetoed the bill.
