Vote Description

This bill requires that one attain the age of 21 before they can receive a concealed carry permit. It also expands the list of gun-free zones throughout the state of California. CPAC supports the founders’ belief in the Second Amendment and opposed this bill. The Senate passed this bill on September 12, 2023 by a vote of 28-8 and the bill later became law.
