This bill authorizes the Governor’s Office of Business and Economic Development to establish the “Building and Reinforcing Inclusive, Diverse, Gender-Supportive, Equity Project.” This project will promote social equity, civil rights, and antidiscrimination through marketing and advertising campaigns on a national scale in other states. CPAC believes that the government should not serve as a Leftist propaganda outlet and opposed this bill. The Senate passed this bill on September 12, 2023 by a vote of 31-6 and the bill later became law.
