This bill requires every locality to create an expedited and streamlined permitting process for hydrogen fueling stations by September 30, 2025 for larger communities and September 30, 2028 for smaller communities. CPAC opposes these mandates for vehicles to promote the Green Agenda and opposed this bill. The Senate passed the bill on August 29, 2024 by a vote of 31-1 and the bill later became law.
