This bill requires electrical permit applicants to comply with certain EV power transfer infrastructure requirements prior to being issued an electrical permit. CPAC opposes increases in building regulations, the likes of which drive up housing costs, and opposed this bill. The House passed this bill on May 4, 2023 by a vote of 43-20 and the bill later became law.
