This bill creates new post-hire notice obligations and adds to the ability of the Colorado Department of Labor and Employment to enforce equal pay laws. CPAC believes that employees should negotiate their pay with their employers free from government intervention and opposed this bill. The Senate passed this bill on May 1, 2023 by a vote of 24-11 and the bill later became law.
