Vote Description
This bill labels the act of using a name for a person other than their “chosen name” as harassment. CPAC recognizes that these provisions will be used as a means of persecuting conservative students and opposed this bill. The Senate passed this bill on April 1, 2024 by a vote of 22-11 and the bill later became law.
