This bill establishes a special nonrefundable income tax credit for renters in the state of Colorado. CPAC opposes tax credits that only benefit targeted slices of the population and opposed this bill. The Senate passed this bill on April 24, 2024 by a vote of 22-12 but the bill never became law.
