This omnibus bill creates a variety of new regulations affecting the health insurance and home care industries. The bill also creates various new working groups to study ways the government can become more involved in certain select industries. CPAC opposes increased government interference in the marketplace and opposed this bill. The House passed this bill on May 6, 2024 by a vote of 112-37 and the bill later became law.
