This bill requires certain internet service providers to provide affordable Internet access services and sets in place requirements creating a form of net neutrality. CPAC opposes this gross overregulation of private business and opposed this bill. The House defeated a motion to refer this bill to committee on May 8, 2024 by a vote of 52-95 but the bill did not become law.
