This bill increases the list of families eligible for child care subsidies by allowing those whose families use Medicaid to qualify for such funds. CPAC opposes the growth of Medicaid and opposed this bill. The House passed this bill on May 7, 2024 by a vote of 120-24 and the bill later became law.
