This bill requires public institutions of higher education to develop plans to provide students that live on campus with access to abortion services. CPAC believes that public universities should focus on educating students, not subsidizing their sex, and opposed this bill. The Senate passed this bill on May 25, 2023 by a vote of 34-2 and the bill later became law.
