This bill includes residential constructions in the list of projects that are subject to existing prevailing wage contract rates. CPAC opposes prevailing wage mandates, the likes of which massively increase the cost of construction, opposes their expansion, and opposed this bill. The Senate passed this bill on May 3, 2023 by a vote of 33-2 and the bill later became law.
