This bill requires certain internet service providers to provide affordable Internet access services and sets in place requirements creating a form of net neutrality. CPAC opposes this gross overregulation of private business and opposed this bill. The Senate passed this bill on May 4, 2024 by a vote of 26-10 but the bill did not become law.
