Vote Description
This bill allows the state controller to withhold payment if the contractor is found to pay other than the “prevailing wage.” CPAC opposes this coercion and opposes the prevailing wage law and opposed this bill. The Senate passed the bill on May 14, 2025 by a vote of S27-8 but the bill was not taken up by the House.
