SB 52
Undermining the Efficacy of Delaware's Needle Exchange Program.
2023 - Delaware House of Representatives
Vote Description

This bill changes the government's needle exchange program for drug addicts such that the program would give out needles based on a person's supposed "needs" and not on a 1 for 1 basis. CPAC believes that taxpayers should not be forced to supply an endless amount of needles to drug users and opposed this bill. The House passed this bill on June 29, 2023 by a vote of 24-0 and the bill later became law.
