HB 299
Circumventing Efforts to Prevent Libraries from Giving Pornography to Children
2024 - Delaware House of Representatives
Vote Description

This bill adds libraries to the definition of “public accommodations” in Delaware’s public law and declares that there exists a “right to read” in Delaware. CPAC recognizes that there exists no such right, further recognizes that this measure is yet another attempt to sneakily expose children to obscene materials that gratify the Left’s radical gender agenda, and opposed this bill. The House passed this bill on March 26, 2024 by a vote of 30-5 and the bill was signed into law.
