This comprehensive bill makes it extremely difficult to purchase a handgun in Delaware. It does this by requiring a person to receive a permit to make such a purchase. To receive one of these permits, a person must undergo firearms training and be at least 21. CPAC opposes this infringement on the Second Amendment and opposed this bill. The House passed this bill on March 7, 2024 by a vote of 23-16 and the bill later became law.
