SB 1
Conjuring Up a Fictitious “Right to Representation” for Tenants.
2023 - Delaware Senate
Vote Description

This bill gives tenants living below 200% of the federal poverty line the right to be represented in legal proceedings held with landlords. CPAC opposes the Left’s insistence on making everything under the sun into a right, does not believe that taxpayers should be forced to pay for other people’s legal bills, and opposed this bill. The Senate passed this bill on June 14, 2023 by a vote of 19-0 and the bill later became law.
