This bill requires certain employers to pay the prevailing wage to workers engaged in custom fabrication labor. It also requires them to pay this wage to workers regardless of where the labor is performed. CPAC opposes artificial wage increases and opposed this bill. The Senate passed this bill on May 17, 2023 by a vote of 15-4 and the bill later became law.
