This bill requires that all new residential single-family and multi-family dwellings be constructed with EV charging station infrastructure. CPAC supports all forms of energy, believes that the government should not support one form of energy over another, opposes mandates of this nature, and opposed this bill. The Senate passed this bill on May 18, 2023 by a vote of 15-5 and the bill later became law.
