This bill requires the Director of the Sustainable Energy Utility to administer a program that subsidizes 50% of the costs of purchasing and installing EV supply equipment for Delaware residents. CPAC supports all forms of energy, believes that the government should not support one form of energy over another, and opposed this bill. The Senate passed this bill on April 18, 2024 by a vote of 21-13 and the bill was signed into law.
