This bill rolls back the ability of local governments to impose unnecessary and burdensome roadblocks to land development. It limits the ability of local goverments to impose fees and permit conditions. CPAC supports private property rights, opposes bureaucracy, and supported this bill. The House passed the bill on April 30 2025 by a vote of 84-29 and the bill was signed into law. The Senate passed the bill on May 1 2025 by a vote of 29-8 and the bill was signed into law.
