This bill allows schools to utilize volunteer chaplains to provide support to students. Students may not meet with such individuals without the permission of their parents. CPAC supports efforts to improve the quality of school counselling services and supported this bill. The House passed this bill on February 22, 2024 by a vote of 89-25 and the bill later became law.
