HB 358
Securing Military Installations in Georgia
2025 - Georgia House of Representatives
Vote Description

HB 358 clarifies the definition of what constitutes a “military installation,” strengthening previous prohibitions on hostile “foreign persons and entities” purchasing land near military bases. CPAC believes in efforts to protect our national security from hostile adversaries, and it supports this bill. HB 358 passed the Georgia House of Representatives in a 120-50 vote on March 3, 2025, and it was later signed into law by Governor Brian Kemp.
