SB 96 eliminates and streamlines state boards that are either duplicative or no longer necessary. CPAC supports efforts to reduce bureaucracy and waste, and it supports this bill. SB 96 passed the Georgia House of Representatives in a 162-0 vote on March 21, 2025, and it was signed into law by Governor Brian Kemp on May 9, 2025.
