This bill requires that election authorities conduct elections, primaries, and runoffs using only lawfully appropriated public funds. CPAC supports efforts to promote election integrity, opposes the use of private funds to pay for elections, and supported this bill. The Senate passed this bill on March 29, 2023 by a vote of 32-21 and the bill later became law.
