This bill prohibits state employees from installing social media platforms that are controlled by foreign governments on government devices. CPAC supports appropriate efforts to further the US’ security interests and supported this bill. The Senate passed this bill on March 27, 2023 by a vote of 52-0 and the bill later became law.
