This bill directs the public utilities commission to establish a loan program to help facilitate the installation of EV charging stations. CPAC supports all forms of energy, does not believe that the government should support one form of energy over another, and opposed this bill. The House passed this bill on March 3, 2023 by a vote of 49-0 but the bill did not pass through the Senate.
