Vote Description

This bill requires employers to post the expected salary range that employees will receive upon being hired for a particular position in their job postings. CPAC opposes government micromanagement of hiring practices and opposed this bill. The House passed this bill on May 2, 2023 by a vote of 46-5 and the bill later became law. Note: This bill was given one of Hawaii’s signature “defective dates.”
