The House version of this bill provides a framework for increasing the amount of monetary rebates that a person may claim for purchasing an electric bike or scooter. CPAC supports all forms of energy, believes that the government should not support one form of energy over another, and opposed this bill. The House passed this bill on April 5, 2024 by a vote of 49-1 but the bill never became law.
