This bill bans the sale of fluorescent lamps in Hawaii. CPAC opposes blanket product bans and opposed this bill. The Senate passed this bill on May 2, 2023 by a vote of 25-0 and the bill later became law. Note: This bill was given one of Hawaii’s signature “defective dates.”
