This bill establishes the food and product innovation network and sets aside resources for the purposes of building up Hawaii’s product development scene. CPAC believes that taxpayers should not be forced to pay for these initiatives and opposed this bill. The Senate passed this bill on March 5, 2024 by a vote of 25-0 but the bill never became law.
