This bill establishes a new Iowa film production incentive program, the likes of which will provide rebates to movie producers for qualified expenditures. CPAC opposes measures that subsidize and enrich wealthy Leftist movie producers and opposed this bill. The House passed this bill on March 26, 2024 by a vote of 87-8 but the bill was not taken up in the Senate.
