This bill provides for more rigorous 5-year analyses of the costs and benefits of rules and regulations and provides for the recission of rules not found to be necessary. CPAC supports efforts to reduce the quantity of unneeded bureaucratic rules and supported this bill. The House passed this bill on April 17, 2024 by a vote of 91-3 and the bill was signed into law.
