This bill prohibits the state from investing funds in financial institutions that boycott energy and firearms companies. CPAC supports efforts to reduce the investment of state funds in companies that base their decision-making processes on ESG objectives and supported this bill. The Senate passed this bill on March 7, 2023 by a vote of 33-16 but the bill never received final approval.
