HF 856 prohibits any state institution from expending money operating or staffing D.E.I. offices. CPAC believes that no taxpayer money should be going to poisonous D.E.I. programs, and it supports this bill. HF 856 was passed by the Iowa Senate in a 34-16 vote on May 9, 2025, and it was signed into law by Governor Kim Reynolds.
